COMMUNICATION/PARTNERSHIP IN THE FUTURE ACTION 4.3 Youth in Action October 2010 Warsaw, POLAND Project summary: During 5 days of your stay in Poland we would like to discuss such matters as: international communication of hearing impaired people, education of hearing impaired in every country that participates in the project, examples of rehabilitation in each country, Partnership in the future - "Youth in Action" programs: international exchanges, EVS, job shadowing, practice, scholarships. We would like this meeting to be a basis of our future cooperation. We want the participants to come up with different ideas for 'youth in action' projects in the future and to find partners for them. Date and Venue: October 2010, Warsaw, Poland Target Group: People who works with hearing disorders youngsters: Non-Governmental Organizations, youth groups, schools, foundations, associations. Participants: 1-2 people from each organization, not more than 26 people altogether. We would like to invite one adult person (for example: teacher, psychologist, leader) and one young person with hearing problem (16-30 years old). Participants from all 27 EU member countries plus Liechtenstein, Norway, Iceland and Turkey are eligible to take part. Conditions: Accommodation, board and programme costs will be financed through European Commission Youth in Action Programme (Action 4.3). Travel costs will be reimbursed in 70% for the participants. For interpreters travel costs will be reimbursed in 100%. Working Language: English (spoken) Please note: If you are hearing impaired person willing to take part in this meeting and you need an interpreter, please take him with you as the second or third person from your organization.
